Boston photographers Person + Killian photograph a lavish Wedding at The Liberty Hotel Boston

Person + Killian Photography was ecstatic to work once again with the talented Chad Michael Peters, who never fails to throw a beautiful affair.

From the start, Lauren knew Carissa & Andrews wedding would be incredible. Not only is the bride the daughter of Red Sox Hall of famer, Jim Rice and his beautiful wife Corine, she happens to be one of the sweetest & most photogenic brides we have ever worked with! 

Below are just a handful of photographs from this lush wedding at the Liberty Hotel Boston. A few key details to share, the wedding party walked down the isle to a harpists playing Stevie Wonder’s “ Ribbons in the Sky” and the party included robots, which moved around the hotel!

A big thank you to our dear friend Chad Michael Peters for including Person + Killian Photography is this wonderful event. You certainly knocked this one out of the park!!

Hotel Indigo | SD Events Photoshoot for Brides Boston Magazine

Earlier this week, Person + Killian Photography had the pleasure of photographing for the fabulous team at SD Events for the Riedel Tabletop Contest in Brides Magazine. The photoshoot took place poolside at the sheik Hotel Indigo in Newton.

We were challenged with the task to create a dramatic and exciting tablescape using Riedel's new line of high quality glassware. The Riedel products used were the water glasses, red and white wine glasses, large glass chargers, and glass votives. We aimed for a poolside cabana feel with lime and aqua dupioni silk linens, white accents and pink orchids to add a pop of color. – SD Events

Boston Wedding & Event Photography at the Boston Public Library | The Catered Affair | Boston Magazine's - Boston Weddings

Over the past few weeks Person + Killian Photography has spent a lot of time at the Boston Public Library. It is one of Boston’s most unique venues and we have had a blast getting to know the space better!

Colonnade Hotel | Mia + Torin's Boston Wedding

When Mia, Torin and their beautiful daughter Maliya first walked through the door at Person + Killian’s Newbury Street location, Jill knew they were going to be a blast to work with on their wedding day. This über-attractive couple had infections smiles, calm demeanors and a great vision of what they wanted their wedding day to be.

Mia, a lawyer in New York City and Torin who calls both NYC and Athens home as a professional basketball player (playing for the AEK team in Greece) wanted their wedding in Boston. The ceremony took place at the Marsh Chapel on the Boston University Campus where Mia graduated from law school.  The grounds of the campus were a perfect location for their formal photographs.

We would be remiss to not mention the couple’s newest addition to the family – adorable baby Kaden! How cute are these two kids!?

The couple and their guests then headed to the Colonnade Hotel where cocktail hour took place by the rooftop pool overlooking the Back Bay.

The celebration continued in the elegant ballroom of the hotel where Mia’s vision was complete with pink uplighting, beautiful floral arrangements and a lounge area. There was even a surprise birthday cake for Torin!

Thanks to Mia and Torin for letting P+K be there to capture this special day in your lives and to Linnea Tangorra of Tangorra Wedding Planning for sending this great couple our way!

A Wedding at the Museum of Science, Boston Ma| It's all about the details!

Kevin & Catherine chose to have their wedding at one of Boston’s most unique venues, the Museum of science. The couple had a simple ceremony as befits a Quaker service. Nonetheless, they wanted the reception to be fun and reflect more of their personalities. For them the Museum of Science was the perfect setting, since 1) they are both self-proclaimed “geeks” & 2) the Museum sits half in Boston and half in Cambridge, just as Kevin lived in Boston and Catherine in Cambridge when they first met! The setting inspired many of the details of the reception, like the flower arrangements in lab glassware, escort cards on microscope slides and favors of M&Ms in test tubes. They also wanted to bring their love of nature in as a theme, and that is reflected in their wedding stationary, which features a design based on two mountains in Acadia National Park, and in the cake, which is decorated to evoke a tree and is topped with two love birds.
