Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding of Nina + Sam

Earlier this month, Person + Killian Photography had the pleasure of photographing the Boston wedding of a great couple - Nina + Sam. Nina and her bridesmaids got ready at the bride's home while Sam and the groomsmen geared up for the day at the Boston Harbor Hotel where the reception took place later that evening.

The first look for the couple took place down the grandiose isle of Boston's Cathedral of the Holy Cross where Nina and Sam exchanged their vows.

After a few photos with the wedding party and the newlyweds, it was off the Boston Harbor Hotel for some formal and fun waterfront pictures before heading into the Wharf Room to celebrate with dinner and dancing.

We loved the summer colors of the centerpieces by Winston Flowers and the "LOVE" cake created for the couple by Cakes To Remember.

Congratulations Nina and Sam and thank you for choosing Person + Killian Photography to capture your beautiful Boston wedding day!

Boston Wedding Photographers end the 2010 season with some Holiday Cheer! A Beautiful Winter Wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel

Allyson & Brian’s winter wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel was certainly filled with holiday cheer and Person +Killian Photography loved being there.

The wedding was a buzz with Christmas inspiration and ideas. Ally and her mom along with the talented Tori of Winston Flowers thought of it all! The beautiful festive décor, human nutcrackers and singing carolers added a cheerful element to this romantic winter wedding.

A big thank you to Ally, her mom and of course Brian (Cush) for being such a pleasure to work with! Happy holidays to you and your family.

The Boston Harbor Hotel is one of our favorite wedding venues, so it was great to end the season there! As always it was a pleasure working with and capturing the work of some of Bostons best wedding vendors: Venue: Boston Harbor Hotel/ Lighting, flowers and decor: Winston Flowers (Tori) / Linens: Be our Guest / Entertainment: Night Shift / Hair & Make Up: Tayla Smith & Cindy Richard / Dress: Monique Lhuillier(Purchased at L'elite Bridal in Boston / Wedding shoes: Christian Louboutin

Boston Wedding Photographers Capture Katherine + Ronnie's Wedding Day

Person + Killian Photography recently got a mini-tour of some of Boston’s finest locales for the wedding of Katherine and Ronnie. Katherine works for The Best of Boston, LTD., so she already knew what she was looking for in her wedding photos and locations.

The day began at The Ames Hotel, where the bridal party got ready. This is a fairly new hotel, so we were excited to have an opportunity to shoot in a new venue. Not only is it full of natural light, but it also offers a great view of downtown Boston!

Before the ceremony, we made two stops to get some pictures. The first, for formals, was at the always-beautiful Boston Public Garden. The second stop, per Ronnie’s request, was at the Boston Harbor Hotel for a quick photo under the arch.

From there, we headed to the ceremony site – the Old North Church in Boston’s historic North End. Situated right on the Freedom Trail, the church provided us a great location to capture some beautiful images.

One of our favorite shots of the day was this photo of little Annie, the adorable flower girl.

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to the Hampshire House on Beacon St. The Library (just one of the rooms Hampshire House has to offer) boasts floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and a gorgeous marble fireplace, which help create a cozy, intimate atmosphere for dining.

All in all, it was a perfect day. We had the joy of photographing a wonderful couple, as well as visiting some of Boston’s best venues. We also always enjoy doing events at the Hampshire House. Thank you to Michelle Reid and her team. As always, they were so great to work with!

Congratulations, Katherine and Ronnie!
