Destination Wedding Photography | Karen + Doug in Woodstock, Vermont

We were thrilled when Boston couple Karen and Doug inquired about photography for their destination wedding in Woodstock, Vermont. It is not often that we have the opportunity to travel during the busy fall season. We happened to have this particular November weekend available and were very much looking forward to it.

The wedding reception took place at the quaint Woodstock Inn & Resort. Prior to the ceremony in one of the towns’ historic churches, we stopped at a nearby covered bridge for some formal photographs. This made for the perfect setting for wedding party and family photos.

Below are a few of our favorite photographs from the day. Congratulations Karen + Doug and thank you for thinking of Person + Killian Photography for your wedding day!

Destination Boston | A Public Garden Destination Wedding for Tereza + Peter

Recently, Person + Killian Photography was contacted via email from a groom to be in Sydney, Australia. Peter and his fiancé Tereza had been together for 8 years and wanted to have an intimate elopement. The couple decided on Boston as their destination of choice and reached out to P+K to capture their special day.

After getting ready at Taj Boston, the couple and a dear friend (who came in from Colorado) headed to meet their officiant in the Boston Public Garden where the ceremony took place.  After their emotional nuptials, we spent some time in the gardens and took advantage of the beautiful fall weather, turning autumn leaves and classic Boston scenery.

We want to thank Peter and Tereza for allowing us to provide them with images from their momentous trip to Boston!

Jaclyn and Trevor's Wedding Weekend | Part I - Strong Island Beach Party

It’s not every day that Person + Killian Photography is asked to photograph a beach party and lobster bake on a private island. Well, this time we had the opportunity for Jaclyn and Trevor’s pre-wedding bash.

The day started when we hopped on a boat at the Chatham Bars Inn on a perfect Friday morning and headed out on a 20 min boat ride to Strong Island. Upon arrival, all guests were greeted at the boathouse with refreshing Island Rum Punch.

After making our way across the island to the beach, totes were given out that had everything necessary for the perfect day including towels, sun screen, mist spray and more. For the next couple of hours, guests partied it up complete with a raw bar, water sports, boats full of iced cold beverages and even a DJ spinning from a tiki boat in the water!

From there it was off to the spa tent before heading over to the lobster bake. The remainder of the afternoon was complete with an authentic reggae band, Mojitos and even the signature “Wedded Bliss” cocktail.

Check back soon for Part II of the weekend - Jaclyn and Trevor’s wedding day
