Irish and Scottish Wedding Inspiration & Ideas | Omni Parker House Boston

Person + Killian Photography kicked off the Spring 2010 season with Colleen and Matthew’s downtown Boston wedding. The afternoon started in the bridal suite of the Omni Parker House for Colleen and her bridesmaids. From there, guests arrived at the South End’s St. Brigid Church on Old Town Trolleys for the intimate ceremony.

After the ceremony, P+K took advantage of the beautiful architecture of Boston’s Historic Old City Hall for photos of the couple and their wedding party.

Guests were then treated to a traditional Irish and Scottish inspired cocktail hour complete with clover plants and Scottish tartans wrapped around the centerpieces on the Omni’s terrace. The reception took place in the hotel's spectacular rooftop ballroom where everything, including the groom's cake (modeled from the grooms favorite brand of Scottish Whisky) incorporated their heritage.

Below are a few favorite images from their day that P+K could not wait to share!

Omni Parker House | Boston Wedding Photography

When the historic Omni Parker House Hotel Boston called and asked if Person + Killian Photography would provide wedding images for their front window, we of course said yes. How exciting to walk down the Freedom trail and pass by our work!

For us, the Omni Parker House is the perfect mix of modern and traditional charm. As you pass through the doors of the hotel, the historic and timeless beauty instantly embraces you.

The location of the hotel is perfect for quintessential New England wedding formals, with amazing views of historic downtown Boston and within walking distance of Beacon Hill, Faneuil Hall and the Boston Common.

Thank you to the Omni Parker House for displaying our photography in your beautiful hotel.
