Person + Killian Photography is thrilled to see Heather and Nick's fall wedding featured in the latest issue of Boston Magazine's- Boston Weddings (Fall/Winter 2010 issue). This "East-meets-West" wedding took place in the beautiful grand ballroom of the Taj Boston Hotel with formal photos of the couple taken in the Boston Public Garden.

Heather (who is Jewish) and Nick (who is Indian-Pakistani), knew they wanted to combine their traditions in one ceremony. The couple kicked things off with a mehndi, a traditional Indian party, at the restaurant Mantra in Boston. The next day, a justice of the peace married them in a ceremony that incorporated Jewish, Islamic, and Hindu traditions. - Stephanie Soong (Boston Weddings)

P+K| Mehndi Celebration| Taj Boston Wedding

Heather and Nick’s Boston wedding weekend was a beautiful mix of Jewish, Indian and Pakistani traditions.  Person + Killian Photography was delighted to be a part of this two day affair.

The festivitives started off with an amazing Mehndi celebration at Mantra, where Heather and Nick celebrated with their closest friends and family. The room was filled with bright colors, beautiful Mehndi and a live performance from Nick’s cousin, Jeffrey Iqbal.

The celebrations continued at the exquisite Taj Boston, where Heather and Nick took full advantage of photographs in the Boston Public Gardens.

Their interfaith ceremony took place in the Taj Grand Ballroom, which was seamlessly turned over into a lovely reception. The room was a gorgeous mix of fall decor, colors and dramatic lighting.

All of Person and Killian Photography’s albums are customized designed by Jill and Lauren, all of their retouching and design work is done in house. Each album is a labor of love for their clients. They want every couple to have a beautiful custom album, which is a true representation of them and their wedding day. 

On Tuesday Lauren shipped off Heather and Nicks wedding album. They chose the 10x10 leather bound traditional album from Leather craftsmen. The end result was nothing less than breathtaking!

Below is a portion of an email Heather sent Lauren after receiving her album! Person and Killian was thrilled to photograph Heather and Nicks beautiful Boston wedding. But, are more excited to provide them with a beautiful keepsake they will cherish forever.

Hi Lauren,

The album arrived last night and of course we absolutley LOVE it!!!!  It looks so much nicer than we even expected.... truly a work of art that we will cherish forever. 

We also love that it's kind of minimalist.... not too many pictures that our friends and family will be overwhelmed if we make them sit through it. :)
