Boston Commercial Photography | Grill 23

A couple of weeks ago, Person + Killian Photography had the opportunity to team up with a talented group of fellow Boston companies in the wedding and event industry for a photoshoot at Grill 23 & Bar.

Grill 23 has been voted Best of Boston in 2010 by both The Improper Bostonian and Boston Magazine and has been called one of the top 10 steak houses in the country by magazines nation wide. It was a pleasure to be asked to team up for a photoshoot that shows off the beautiful spaces that can hold the perfect intimate wedding, rehearsal dinner or private event. We were able to utilize all of the great spots throughout the venue, including the Corinthian columns, mahogany paneling and great textures in all of the the private dining rooms that have great views of the Back Bay.  We also got to photograph in The Wine Room (a great spot for an intimate dinner party).

Thank you to the fantastic team that helped make this shoot a tremendous success and to Grill 23 for thinking of us to come on board. Below are just a small handful of our favorite photos from the day.

The rooms were filled with beautiful flower arrangements from Tangerine Creations, complimenting linens by Rentals Unlimited and uplighting by Groove Entertainment & Lighting for an extra little pop of color. We even had a live band for the afternoon provided by Entertainment Specialists!

DIY Barn Style Wedding | New England | Codman Farm Lincoln MA

Jacquie & Gabe exchanged I do’s last October in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They had a small intimate wedding with a handful of people.

Last Saturday they had a down home barn-style reception with all their family and friends. The festivities took place at Codman Farm in Lincoln, MA where a blue grass band got the party started.

The Über cool couple along with their talented event planner Amy Kimball designed all of the décor. Their barn style wedding reception was full of DIY charm and filled to the brim with adorable details.

Congratulations Jacquie & Gabe!

State Room Boston | High-End Bride - Breakfast Workshop

Marketing to the High-End Bride is produced by Arlene Cronk, owner of Invitations & Company, a social stationery boutique in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood since 1991.  Held each spring and fall, the Marketing to the High-End Bride event is designed exclusively for upscale wedding professionals looking to reach their business goals in the most highly-competitive segment of the market.  The event format — a breakfast and panel discussion held every six months at a luxury Boston venue — is an alternative to the more structured forums of the typical professional association.  As such, it is designed specifically in both format and content to fit the intense work style and sophisticated informational needs of the high-end professional.  March 2011 marks the 11th Marketing to the High-End Bride. - www.weddingprof.com

We were thrilled that Arlene asked Person + Killian Photography to be the photography sponsor of this fantastic event. Over 170 wedding and event professionals came out Thursday morning to Boston's State Room. After an hour of networking in the Harborside Room, everyone entered the Great Room for a panel discussion on celebrity weddings. The panel included 5 experts including planner Kate Parker and Gary Sloper from the Boston Harbor Hotel. The decor was designed by Heather Minicucci of Simply Inviting Weddings with fantastic yellow spring floral designs by Tangerine Creations and gray linens from Rentals Unlimited.
