Person + Killian Photography Featured on Chronicle HD Boston for The Royal Wedding

Like so many others all over the world, Person + Killian Photography had a chance to get involved with the Royal Wedding festivities!

We are honored to have been featured on last night's Royal Wedding episode of WCVB Channel 5's Chronicle. The fabulous Shayna Seymour interviewed us on Royal trends in photography and followed us along with Marianna and Rob (a 2011 P+K couple) on an engagement session in the Back Bay.

We had a great time watching the show at the W Boston where Tasha Bracken of SD Events (also featured in the episode) hosted a cocktail party. Our dear friend Dana Markos of Dana Markos Events was also interviewed by Shayna for the show.

A special thanks to Tasha for throwing the event and to Dana for his beautiful flower arrangements that were inspired by the popular fascinators worn by all of the women at the wedding.

The celebration continued with a viewing party at the SD Events office in Newton that was covered by WHDH Channel 7 Boston this morning where we drank tea, wore some fabulous hats and fascinators that were provided by Lance McBrayer of Glam Couture for the momentous occasion.

Ames Hotel | Boston Event Photography

Our dear friend and owner of SD Events, Tasha Bracken, recently reached out to us to capture a surprise 50th birthday party at the Ames Hotel in downtown Boston. The dinner party was held in the hotel's Gallery Room for Charlie, the guest of honor and 15 of his closest friends and family members. Charlie is a pilot and Tasha was able to carry that theme throughout the evening, starting with the little planes in the entryway, to the menu cards that looked like boarding tickets and even the classic airplane peanuts in the take away bags for the end of the evening.

Heather & Adrian's Jewish wedding at the Spring Valley Country Club Sharon Ma

A few years back Person + Killian Photography had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of a dear friend in the industry, Stephanie (Penn) Solomon. Since then, we have grown to absolutely adore her entire family! Not only are they sweet and loving, they are extremely fun and certainly know how to throw a lavish affair! So, when Steph’s little sister Heather got engaged, we knew her wedding to Adrian would be classic “Penn” style - lavish, lush, fun, and a blast to photograph!

Here are a few of our favorite moments from Heather & Adrain’s Jewish wedding at the lovely Spring Valley Country Club. When we asked Heather what the inspiration for her wedding was, she said, A 50’s super club filled with aubergine, silver, black & white colors.

It was great to work once again with the talented Tash Bracken of a SD Events who described this wedding as modern chic with the use of different chairs, tables and linens and the glow bar.  The arrangements were ultra-modern and edgy with the use of large cylinders as was the escort card table with mirror top.

A big thanks to the dynamic duo, Jack and Naomi of GENERATIONS cinemastories for always being a pleasure to work with!

Last but not least, thank you to the Penn’s for trusting us with another important moment in your lives. As always, it was a pleasure capturing these memories for you.
