Destination Boston | A Public Garden Destination Wedding for Tereza + Peter

Recently, Person + Killian Photography was contacted via email from a groom to be in Sydney, Australia. Peter and his fiancé Tereza had been together for 8 years and wanted to have an intimate elopement. The couple decided on Boston as their destination of choice and reached out to P+K to capture their special day.

After getting ready at Taj Boston, the couple and a dear friend (who came in from Colorado) headed to meet their officiant in the Boston Public Garden where the ceremony took place.  After their emotional nuptials, we spent some time in the gardens and took advantage of the beautiful fall weather, turning autumn leaves and classic Boston scenery.

We want to thank Peter and Tereza for allowing us to provide them with images from their momentous trip to Boston!

Person + Killian Photography is thrilled to see Heather and Nick's fall wedding featured in the latest issue of Boston Magazine's- Boston Weddings (Fall/Winter 2010 issue). This "East-meets-West" wedding took place in the beautiful grand ballroom of the Taj Boston Hotel with formal photos of the couple taken in the Boston Public Garden.

Heather (who is Jewish) and Nick (who is Indian-Pakistani), knew they wanted to combine their traditions in one ceremony. The couple kicked things off with a mehndi, a traditional Indian party, at the restaurant Mantra in Boston. The next day, a justice of the peace married them in a ceremony that incorporated Jewish, Islamic, and Hindu traditions. - Stephanie Soong (Boston Weddings)

Kelly and Gavin's Winter Wedding at Boston's Locke-Ober

The 2010 wedding season kicked off for Person + Killian Photography at the Taj Boston Hotel. Kelly and Gavin had a spectacular day starting with a morning at the Taj. The lovely couple, along with their closest friends and family, walked down Newbury Street to their ceremony at the always breath-taking Church of the Covenant.

After the ceremony, formal photos were taken at the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, which was illuminated by the white lights lining the Back Bay. Cocktail hour and an elegant dinner were followed by a night of dancing at Locke-Ober in downtown Boston.
