Springtime Wedding at the Four Seasons Boston | New England Real Weddings

Nicole & Jesse had a beautiful spring wedding at the impeccable Four Seasons Hotel Boston. Several months back when Nicole called Person + Killian Photography her first question was “Have you ever photographed a Jewish wedding?” and of course the answer was yes!

We have been so blessed to work with and photograph couples from many different cultures and of many faiths and beliefs. At the end of the day, we are always tearing up from the beauty of each of the couples' family traditions. Nicole and Jesse's wedding was certainly no exception.

The day started off in the Bridal Suite, where Nicole, her mom and maid of honor got ready. Then, the couple chose to take a moment to see each other before heading off to the Boston Public Garden for some pre-wedding photos.

Both the Ketubah signing and wedding ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Hotel. One of our favorite moments to document during a Jewish wedding ceremony is the circling. This is when the couple first enters the chuppah and the bride and groom circle each other three times each. The symbolism demonstrates (amongst several other things) that they are the center of each other’s worlds.

After a fantastic cocktail hour the couple and their guests headed into the Aujourd’hui Room where they dined, danced and celebrated until the early hours of the next morning! When we asked Nicole to describe her wedding she had the following to say:

Jesse and I just wanted to make this a fun celebration for our friends and family. We focused on food, music and flowers to create a nice party atmosphere where everyone can relax and let loose. The Wallis dress by Monique L’Huiller took on a life of it’s own and inspired the graphite color linens. I’m partial to pink flowers-what girl doesn’t love pink-and it is the perfect complement to the graphite.

Nicole and Jesse, thank you both for trusting Person + Killian Photography to document one of your most important days. We wish you nothing but happiness. Mazel tov!

Four Seasons Hotel Boston - Wedding Photography

Last Saturdays wedding at The Four Seasons Boston was simply spectacular. From the minute Lauren arrived to the hotel, she knew the day would be amazing. With the "elegant simplicity and old-world Boston charm" of the Four seasons, the wedding was simply stunning! The event was filled with William Mizuta's signature vision and work. Breathtaking décor, lighting and floral arrangements adorned all of the rooms.

As a surprise to the couple, the bride’s parents arranged for a choir to come to the ceremony and sing “ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE” A play off from the scene in "LOVE ACTUALLY". As you can imagine the couple was shocked!

As always, Person + Killian Photography are delighted to photograph a wedding at The Four Seasons Boston and it was certainly a pleasure to work with and photograph the beautiful work of our friend William Mizuta. A big thank you to Deb Welch of Studio 9 who never fails to produce amazing hair and make-up.
